Magnetic Therapy

Magnetic therapy is a method that is non-invasive and includes the safe application of magnets to the body in order to heal an ailment. It may be combined with other forms of therapies or it could be used independently. This method is very effective for the relief of pain and other conditions. It increases the speed of healing and improves sleep and has no side effects.

It is a very safe method and has been formally confirmed by the World Health Organization. It is not hazardous to health and not complicated to use. It must not be used during pregnancy, if you are using a pacemaker, insulin pump or a defibrillator or if you have any kind of electro medical device implanted.

This therapy came into existence in China almost 4,000 years ago. It was then used by a lot of cultures like the Greeks, Europeans and Chinese to treat ailments. But during the olden times the heavy weight of the magnets made its use very difficult. Modern day magnetic therapy is used worldwide and is convenient to use.

In the United States of America, clinical studies since the 1960s have proven magnetic therapy to be an effective tool for reliving pain and the feeling of discomfort. Europe and Japan have conducted extensive studies in this field. Physicians using magnetic therapy on their patients have very often seen excellent results.

Electromagnetic fields control all physical as well as mental functions in a human body and these are a product of the movement of ions or electro chemicals that are inside the body.  When a person is injured and there is tissue damage, ions that have a positive charge go to the injured area where they cause inflammation and pain. If the pain and the inflammation must subside and become normal, then the electromagnetic fields that are present at the place of injury must be brought back to their normal balance.

When magnets are applied to the injured area, electromagnetic fields can be brought back to normal levels. The capillary walls, the muscles and connecting tissues are relaxed by the application of magnetic fields. It also increases the circulation of blood in the injured areas. There is an increase of oxygen and other nutrients in the injured area and those toxins that cause inflammation are reduced and removed. The process removes pains and creates electromagnetic balance in the injured area and quickens healing.

Magnetic therapy if used properly is very effective and can help, maybe 80%  to 90%.  Biomagnetics is a complex science but very effective and requires certain special designs and methods of manufacturing. Practicing Biomagnetics requires educated guidance.

Therion manufactures products that are used for magnetic therapy and gives all instructions that are required for safeguarding the interests of the consumer and to help use these products effectively to get optimum results.

The effectiveness of magnetic therapy depends on the condition and the severity of the ailment a person is suffering from. Each individual response will be different to magnetic therapy. It has been seen that the response in older people is much better when compared to younger people.

People suffering from acute injuries feel better and know the difference in a couple of days from when the therapy was started. Certain people feel the results in a couple of minutes or hours. If a person is suffering from chronic pain then it could take quite a few days for him to feel better and feel the effectiveness of the therapy.
