Schuessler Cell Salt Calcium Fluoride (Calc. Fluor.)

Part of the Calcarea group of biochemic remedies, Calcarea Fluor is the one that is most looked towards when there is a relaxation of any part of the body. Little wonder then that it is fondly called ‘the elasticity salt’.

What could be the conditions where these relaxed tissues are a problem? Well, it could manifest itself as circulation that is sluggish, as varicose veins, as eczema or piles. Calcarea Fluor is also present in the enamel of the bones, in the surface cells of the skin as well as the teeth. So it is always included when it involves treatment for the teeth, bones and skin.

Today, biochemic practitioners even use it to effect an improvement in patients with blood pressure. Since high blood pressure is usually a result of poor circulation and arteries that have lost their elasticity, this salt tends to bring back some of the elasticity. It has also been found to be very useful for women’s problems like hard knots in the breast.

Being a part of the Calcarea family, it is also good for bones and connective tissue. Many practitioners recommend it for cataracts of the eye as well as deposits in the ear. It is also good for sore throats and burning and pain in the throat which gets aggravated by cold drinks. The uvula too gets relaxed and this in turn can mean coughing.

Calcarea Fluor is great for clearing up scar tissue as well. Any kind of chapped or fissured skin or hard-edged cracks respond very well to Calcarea Fluor. It is also a favorite recommendation for spurs in the foot as well as hard, knotty growths in the spine.

A patient who needs the biochemic salt Calcarea Fluor usually feels better with heat and worse when it is damp and cold.
