Schuessler Cell Salt Potassium Chloride (Kali. Mur.)

The Tissue Salt Potassium Chloride also known as Kalium Muriaticum or Kali Mur is the blood’s cleanser and conditioner. This biochemic salt is found in blood corpuscles, muscle cells, nerve cells, saliva and in the intercellular fluids and is chiefly instrumental in dissolving the secretions of mucous tissues. The salt works with the body's chemistry to maintain cellular balance and health. Closely related to common salt, it is essential for new brain cell formation and good blood circulation.

Kali Mur is the biochemic remedy of choice for secondary or chronic inflammatory or catarrhal infections, which typically have thick, white exudation from the skin or mucous membranes, and the thickening of blood. In conjunction with Calc Sulph, it cleanses and purifies the blood.

Kali Mur treats constipation, improves a sluggish digestion and unsatisfactory excretion of bodily wastes typified by white mucus discharges, light colored stools and white or gray coating on the tongue. Respiratory problems caused by harsh cough with white expectoration, congestion, stuffy head colds, bronchitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis may also remedied. It is effectively clears up winter sores and skin pustules and ear infections. Biochemic practitioners often use Kali Mur along with Ferrum Phos to treat diphtheria and children’s disorders, including infantile eczema.

As a glandular tonic, it regulates swollen glands like mumps, tonsils, and chronic lymphatic and rheumatic swellings. Ailments such as eruptions from bad vaccines, toxicity, ulcers, allergies, joint inflammation, and degenerative conditions all can be treated with Kali Mur.

The indications of Kali Mur deficiency are principally white or gray-coated tongue, and thick, white expectoration and a very pale face. The patient may also exhibit edginess, worry, lack of mental clarity and, disinterest in surroundings. Gastric symptoms are worsened by consuming rich fatty food and rheumatic pains are aggravated by motion in the open air. Kali Mur deficiency is characterized by lethargy and sluggishness.
